Frequently Asked Questions

It is really easy to make an appointment with us. Just contact us and provide information about what needs to be moved and where. Simple as that!
Every move is unique. My team and I are pleased to work with new customers every day. We focus all our effort on guaranteeing our customers are highly satisfied with their move. We do see a lot of repeat customers call us again and many recommend to their families and friends. To us, this shows that we take care of each customer’s individual needs and provide an experience better than a “typical move.”

I would advise to a customer to research moving companies. There are a lot of them, and only a few of them are trustworthy and honest. Read reviews; they are helpful. Do not fall for cheap prices.

Are there any hidden fees? How will the company protect your belongings? Do they take special requests? We will happily discuss these questions and more with our customers before they decide we are right for their move.

After you contact us, we’ll ask for an inventory of what you’re moving. The best way to do this is to walk through your home, noting the contents of each room and any items that may need disassembling. If you’re unsure about the exact number of boxes, just give an estimate. Don’t forget to include items from the garden, shed, and attic.

Other factors affecting the estimate include the floor levels of the current and new properties, parking availability, the distance between the van and the front door, the number of vans and staff needed, and your move date. Moving on a weekday other than Friday can often be cheaper.

The time it takes to pack your home depends on its size and how much you need to pack. Usually, a team of 3 or 4 movers is sent out. Packing can take from a couple of hours to a full day. Sometimes, packing and moving can be done on the same day. Other times, packing is done one day, and the move is made the next.
Yes, we have the necessary insurance for the work we do. This includes coverage for your possessions while they are in our care and protection for members of the public and property against any accidents during the move.
Yes, we offer this as a chargeable service. If the item doesn’t need specialist skills or equipment, we can handle it. Let us know if you need this service, and provide some photos of the items. This helps us send the right team members to assist you.
